Work was BUSY this week. I unfortunately did not have as much time as I usually do to devote to preparing my articles and making my rounds to my friends’ blogs. And speaking of commitments, at least one evening during the week and our Saturdays have been assigned to our children’s soccer practice. Oh, the things we do for our kids! Off to soccer!

No need to be embarrassed about not ordering enough slate stone. I think that would be incredibly tough to estimate unless you’ve done that before. It’s better that you ordered not enough rather than too much.
That’s great that you help out with your children’s soccer practice. I was really into soccer when I was a kid. To have your parent involved just makes it that much better.
Thanks! It’s a big commitment taking our kids there and back, especially during the week after work. I wish I knew more about soccer so I could help develop them.
I’m sure you could find some good instructional videos online. For most kids though, it’s mostly just about practicing fundamentals, getting some exercise and working on things like teamwork.
It’s amazing what you can find on YouTube!
